Mary Steinbroner Lugo

Mary is a lifelong resident of the Los Angeles area who has been writing for most of her life about a variety of different interests. She has a Master’s Degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Southern California and thirty years experience as a public school teacher.

Among her publications is “A Game of Hearts”, a murder mystery short story in Cafe Noir, a curated collection published by the Coffee House Writers Group. She also published “Thief,” a psychological thriller in the online venue Crimson Cloak.

She is currently working on several projects including:

– an illustrated picture book for children about the friendship between a Dragon and a Teddy Bear, and the mischief they get into.

– a romance novel about a young female veterinarian who is dealing with the trauma from a sexual assault and rebuilding her life.

– an anthology of stories about a variety of interesting childhood experiences.
